About WTO

Wichita Theatre Organ, Inc. (WTO)
Home of the New York Paramount Wichita Wurlitzer

The group known as WTO began in the '60s, when local theatre organ enthusiasts gathered at the Miller Theatre after hours to use the organ there. Through the 40-odd years, the group has evolved, but Michael Coup, J. D. Unruh and David Bernstorf who were part of the original group, are still officers in the organization.

WTO owns two playing theatre organs, the Wichita Wurlitzer (formerly The New York Paramount Theatre WurliTzer), and the Little River Studio WurliTzer which is comprised of Wichita's Miller Theatre Wurlitzer and other instruments, making it one of the finest studio pipe organs in the world.

WTO is run and staffed by volunteers with no paid officers. In these days of austerity we need your help, both as volunteers and financial supporters in order to keep our organs playing so we can host events for you. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us at:
